As part of the WMS Culinary Club this Spring, students will have the opportunity to attend and participate in several fundraising activities. All monies raised will fund consumable food items for our Vineyard Academy Harvest “Farm to Table” and “Intro to Foods” 2019-2020 classes. Currently, we are planning 3 fundraisers: Open House Dinner Event, Christopher Creek Winery Dinner, and Promotion Ceremony Sale (pending district approval).
Students who volunteer at the Christopher Creek Winery event must attend a field trip to Windsor High School (April 17th) to visit the WHS Vineyard Academy taught by Marie Ganister. There, WHS students will teach WMS students the necessary serving and bussing skills to be successful at the event. Also, the Sonoma County Office of Education will be present as guests to learn about our combined culinary programs to be shared in a Press Democrat featured article this summer.
To be considered as a volunteer, several forms must be complete and returned to Mrs. Lands no later than April 9th. With a limited number of spaces available, students will interview to volunteer at each event and will be informed of their inclusion on Monday, April 15th.
Please return the the below listed applicable forms. Copies of all forms are attached below.
